Son programme ambitieux devrait occuper la physique des hautes \u00e9nergies pour les d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 venir. \u00a0Qu&#8217;il s&#8217;agisse d\u2019explorer le mod\u00e8le standard avec une pr\u00e9cision sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent ou de rechercher de nouvelles particules, cette machine est con\u00e7ue avec la polyvalence et la diversit\u00e9 au c\u0153ur de son programme \u00e9chelonn\u00e9e en plusieurs \u00e9tapes. Cette pr\u00e9sentation visera \u00e0 donner un aper\u00e7u de l&#8217;\u00e9tat actuel du projet. L&#8217;accent sera mis sur les aspects physiques, en particulier ceux de la phase initiale avec des collisions d\u2019\u00e9lectrons et de positons.<br \/>\nFuture Circular Collider: What? Why? When? The Future Circular Collider program is profiling itself as the next big challenge taken up by fundamental science. This ambitious program would be a unique opportunity to fuel the field of high-energy physics for several decades to come. \u00a0Be it for exploring the standard model with unprecedented precision or to search for new physics, this machine is being designed with versatility and diversity at the heart of its multi-stage program. This presentation will aim at providing a snapshot at the current state of affairs.
