Theses in the laboratory

Doing a PhD at LAPTh

Our researchers and research professors regularly supervise doctoral theses through the Doctoral School of Physics, jointly accredited by Université Savoie Mont Blanc and Université Grenoble Alpes. Often, a doctoral project develops following a Master’s 2 internship within the laboratory, but this is not mandatory.

Each year, Master’s 2 internship opportunities can be found on our website, and doctoral internship opportunities are published via the doctoral school and the ADUM website (Unified and Shared Doctoral Access).

Students interested in an internship and/or a thesis within our laboratory are invited to contact us.

Among the Master 2 programs leading to an internship and then a PhD in theoretical physics within the themes of our laboratory are:

This list is not intended to be exhaustive; naturally, students from other courses within the themes of our laboratory are invited to contact us in this context, including students from a foreign Master’s program.
