Cosmology and astroparticles: Relics from the early universe; high-energy astrophysics and multi-messenger/multi-wavelength aspects; indirect searches for dark matter
The astrophysics and cosmology team is one of the world leaders on the subject of the propagation of cosmic rays and indirect searches for dark matter. This team also displays great expertise in multi-wavelength astrophysics (gamma rays, radio counterparts, X…) and multi-messenger (in particular the new astronomy of gravitational waves, neutrinos). Several themes of cosmology (non-standard scenarios, production and phenomenology of exotic relics such as primordial black holes) are also the subject of numerous ongoing studies.
