LAPTh’s research is organized around 3 poles:
■ Mathematical physics – Symmetries- Integrable systems and their applications- Field theory and string theory
■ Particle physics – Interactions between fundamental constituents – The Standard Model and its extensions- Phenomenology of particle and astroparticle physics
■ Cosmology and astroparticles – The large-scale structures of the Universe- Its formation, Its formation, evolution and content – Astrophysical phenomena (cosmic rays, gamma-ray bursts, etc.)
