This 1-day workshop aims at gathering in Annecy the local string and quantum field theory community for fruitful exchanges on active research topics. Those include:
Participating institutions are mainly LPENS (Lyon), IP2I (Lyon), LAPTh (Annecy), CERN (Meyrin), UNIGE (Geneva) and EPFL (Lausanne). Young researchers are particularly encouraged to participate.

Travel
Annecy can be reached by train (SNCF, SBB), bus (including B272, or Flixbus), car (including car-sharing Blablacar).
Detailed information on how to access the LAPTh can be found on this page; in particular, buses connecting the station and the LAPTh are indicated.
Lunch and dinner
There is no lunch option close to the LAPTh (no shop, canteen, etc.). A vegetarian lunch can be provided on both days. Please indicate your interest when registering.
A pizza dinner will be proposed on the 14th October.
Accomodation
A hotel for the night 13-14th October will be proposed when registering.
Internet
Eduroam is available at LAPTh. Another possibility is to get a guest access when you arrive.
